Burgess Philip L. Fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church on Monday January 21, 2013 at the age of 82.

Beloved husband of Jacqueline (Rachford) Burgess, Dear Father of Lynn (Rick) Barnett, Sue (Tim) Kavanaugh and Karen (Rick) Allen, proud grandfather of Kim (John), Evan & Blake step grandfather of Marnee , Lauren and Chantell, Great Grandfather of Drew, Dear Brother of Peggy Gannon and Larry Burgess, Dear Uncle, Great Uncle, Cousin and Friend to many.

Phil was an electrician and retired from Anheuser Busch. He received a purple heart for service in the Korean War.

The Stygar Family of Funeral Service is caring for Phil's family. Funeral Friday, January 25 at 11:30 A.M., at the STYGAR MID RIVERS Funeral Home and Crematory, 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Dr., (St. Charles).

Interment at a later date at National Cemetery Jefferson Barracks.

Visitation Thursday, Jan 24 from 3:30 until 7:00 P.M.
