SIMPSON, GLORIA IDALOU (nee Havlena),88, daughter of the late Joe and Emja Havlena; sister of the late Gracia Warren; beloved wife of the late Ray Simpson, mother of Glenn and Jim; adopted mother of Donna Mace; grandmother of Jeremy; great-grandmother of Christiian and Kailey.

Gloria was a member of the former St. Stephen United Church of Christ and a current member of Bethany Peace United Church of Christ, a resident of Hidden Lake Retirement Community, a friend to many and loved by many more. She played the drums in all-girl bands during WWII, was a founding member of the Jennings Kitchen Band, and continued playing drums the rest of her life. She loved people, animals, and talking to both.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Jan 31, from 10 to 11am at STYGAR FLORISSANT CHAPEL, 13980 New Halls Ferry Rd, with a service following the visitation. Interment Private. Memorials to the charity of your choice appreciated.
