Kimmel, Robert L., passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2013. Beloved husband of Jackie. Loving father of Kim (Dan) Dillman, Karen (Jeff) Dollar, Kris (Don) Swan and Roy (Lisa) Kimmel. Adoring grandfather of Tim, Caitie, David, J.D., Joey, Tony, Dan (Erin), Ryan, Matthew and Rachel. Loving brother of Creola Trojan. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, and a man of great intergrity. Robert and Jackie were blessed with 56 years of love together.

There will be a celebration of Robert’s life with a Memorial Mass at St. Angela Merici Catholic Church in Florissant, MO on Saturday, February 2nd at 10am. “In lieu of flowers, please give us your prayers and make a donation to a charity of your choice.”

Robert celebrated his life with gourmet cooking, fishing and golf. He inspired others to be their best through being a Scout Master for many years. As an engineer for McDonnell Douglas, he helped put a man on the moon and a space station in orbit. He was a truck driver, a stereo speaker maker and a rocket scientist. Most of all he was an engineer who would spend $10 to make a gadget he could buy for $2.
