Wynne, Joseph A., 90, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Thursday, January 31, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Blanche (nee Brockel) Wynne. Loving father of Joey (Dennis) Merkt, Joseph (Mary) Wynne, Geri (David) Zinn, Michael (Maria) Wynne and Loretta (Steve) Copeland and the late Gerard and James Wynne and Dolores Curran. Our loving grandfather, great grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Joe was married to Blanche for 57 years, (she was a Saint), and he was a loving father to eight children. He retired from the St. Louis Post Dispatch after 37 years. He was an avid boater, private pilot, craftsman who built airplanes, custom cars and our home. He never met a stranger and lived life to the fullest. His words of advice to everyone were, “it doesn’t cost anything to be nice”. He will certainly be missed by many.

Funeral services from STYGAR FLORISSANT CHAPEL & CREMATION CENTER, 13980 New Halls Ferry Road on Tuesday, February 5th at 9:15 am then proceed to Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Church, 1050 Smith Avenue, Ferguson for 10 am Mass. Interment Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church or the charity of your choice in the name of Joseph Wynne. VISITATION MONDAY 3-8PM.
