Landuyt, Ellen Marcella “Dookie” (nee Ratz) 86 passed away peacefully on February 8, 2013 in Boulder, Colorado. Beloved wife of the late Charles Landuyt Jr. who she was married to for 56 years. Loving mother of Larry Landuyt and Patricia (William) “Landuyt” McDonald. Grandmother of Tracy (Tim) “Landuyt” Bucher, Michelle (Jeff) “Landuyt” Haupt, Stephanie (Dr. Angelo) “Landuyt” Ramos, Dr. Bryan (Jennifer) McDonald and Kelly McDonald. Great grandmother of Ava, Ella, Brayden, Owen, and Charlie. Dear sister of the late Alice (nee Ratz) Binig and brother Louis H. Ratz Jr.

Ellen was born in St. Louis, Missouri on January 16, 1927 to the late Louis H. Ratz Sr. and Ellen (nee Brown) Ratz. She was a graduate of Beaumont High School. She will be missed by her many friends and family.

Visitation will be held at STYGAR MID RIVERS Funeral Home, 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Dr. St. Charles Mo. 63304 on Thursday February 14, from 9:00 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cottleville Mo. Burial will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 12:45 P.M.
